Wednesday, 02 May 2018

Help is now available if you are an apprentice who is struggling who their apprenticeship due to depression, stress or any other type of mental health condition. The ‘Supporting Apprentices Service’ is a free and confidential service delivered by Remploy via the Workplace Mental Health Support Service.

Apprentices can contact the service for help if they are currently in an apprenticeship and having problems, or have already been signed off sick due to a mental health condition.

The support service will:

  • provide personal support to an apprentice;
  • develop a personal support plan;
  • and give advice to employers about adjustments that can be made to help an apprentice complete their apprenticeship.

Details on contacting the service are now available in the School’s apprenticeships section or you can download our infographic on supporting apprentices.
