STP Improvement review; tell us what you think

Wednesday, 03 January 2018

The School is conducting an online survey about the design and structure of the Scientist Training Programme (STP). The STP has been running for a number of years and we would like to capture the views and experiences of our stakeholders to understand what changes may be required to improve the programme for trainees, training officers, employers, and other members of the healthcare science community.

If you would like to participate in the survey, please click the link below. The survey should take between 20-30 minutes to complete and covers topics such as rotations, competencies and the Objective Structured Final Assessment (OSFA). You may leave out any questions you do not wish, or are unable, to answer.

You will not be asked for your name and participants will not be identifiable in any of the survey outputs. Please note that, in order to maintain your anonymity, the survey must be completed in one sitting as there is no save function.

The survey is open from today until 29 January 2018 and can be accessed via this link: https://survey.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_5d551Yy29dlzwCp

For technical queries about the survey, please contact Kathy Seymour at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

We thank you in advance for your time. Please forward the survey link to any colleagues who you feel would also be interested in participating in this survey.

We anticipate that the results of the survey will be published on the School website in late March 2018.
