An opportunity is available for senior leaders in healthcare science to build long term partnerships between clinical, research and industry teams. The Chief Scientific Officers' Knowledge Transfer Partnership Programme aims to speed up the identification and dissemination of new, high value approaches to improving patient outcomes and increasing efficiency.
If selected for the programme you will work with three of the institutes that deliver the UK's National Measurement System (NMS); the National Physical Laboratory (NPL); LGC Ltd and the National Institute for Biological Standards and Control (NIBSC). These institutes are involved in a wide range of research activities that support medical science, such as cancer and cell therapies, wound management and regenerative medicine.
The 12 month programme has been designed to enable senior healthcare scientists to remain in clinical service while exchanging skills and expertise with NMS scientists to create, expand or test innovative ideas to improve patient care.
The programme is due to start in July 2017 and the application deadline is Wednesday 26 April 2017. Visit the programme website for further details and to make an application.
