On completion of all of the elements of the ASP Programme, trainees will receive a Certificate of Completion from the NSHCS.

  • To receive the Certificate the trainee must successfully complete the work based modules as defined in the ASP programme specification and achieve a pass for the final assessment. They must also provide a transcript to demonstrate successful completion of the required academic study at an accredited University provider.
  • The completion process will follow the process for programmes at the same level as the ASP Programme, including completion deadlines. For ASP Programmes at STP level, more information can be found on the website.

Voluntary registration

  • Registration with the AHCS on completion of the ASP programme is voluntary, but recommended.
  • Registration with the AHCS will require presentation of the NSHCS Certificate of Completion.
