North West HCS Trainee Spring Event

Date: Tuesday 28 May 2019

Venue: University of Manchester Innovation Centre (UMIC), 46 Grafton Street, Manchester M13 9XX

Time: 9.00am - 2.30pm

The role of the NWHCS TNB is to support trainees through the STP programme by providing networking opportunities, assistance with completion of tricky professional competencies and a platform to broadcast exciting and novel research in the field. The theme for this event is the NHS Long Term Plan, with an optional OSFA Workshop from 14:00- 16:00. As well as educational support activities the board aims to promote key messages from strategic documents such as the NHS Long Term Plan and the anticipated strategy for healthcare science. This approach ensures that all trainee healthcare scientists have knowledge of the health priorities and challenges facing the NHS which will in turn enable them to identify opportunities and innovative solutions.

Places are limited, therefore please complete registration (name, Trust and specialism) by the 17th May 2019. Directions to the venue can be found here.

This will be held at Undergraduate Centre, Breakout Space on LG (Undergraduate Centre, Manchester Foundation Trust, The Blvd, Manchester M13 9WG) – directions and a map of the trust can be found here.  If you would like to register your interest please complete the Doodle poll, detailing your name and year and your confirmation of successful application will be sent by email.
